Chainsaw bear carving by Paul

| The coral reef wall is eight
woodcarvings and is about 6' high and 6' wide. The big
woodcarving in the middle is carved out of a "Redwood Root" with maple fish
add-ins. The fan shaped one, top middle, is carved out of a maple root burl
and the wood grain has every thing from "wavy reflections to flames and
birds eyes to sunbursts". The top left small woodcarving is carved out of
the hardest redwood burl I have ever seen. All the rest of the woodcarvings
are carved from big leaf Maple cluster burl logs that are split in half. |
